Caesar's
Salad at CENTRO's is addictive! I have had friends drive 2 hours
to join me there for dinner just for this salad. And why is it so
good? Because it is a healthy size portion, has a creamy dressing
that holds well to the leaves, has a well balanced flavor, and it
is a safe bet: it is consistently good, and I have
been there dozen's of times. I especially like the fact of having fresh
cloves of garlic and olive pits available at each table.
Nibbling on the garlic adds a special zzzing between each bite.
And I soften "garlic bites" with buttered breadsticks.
Naturally, a Pinot Grigio is a must, and their house wines are just
fine!
The atmosphere is appropriate for everyone: families, lunch and business meetings, dinner dates, etc. Sections are partitioned to keep noise down. Windows give a great airy feel, along with a view to the outdoor dining area and scenic waterfalls. Tables are covered with white paper, and crayons are supplied for those who "can't wait to eat".
